China was behind 9/11

This hoax, promoted by Gordon Thomas in The Seeds of Fire, is trivially refuted by the lack of any Chinese plotters, hijackers, and financiers. Terrorists from the Middle East, not the Far East, were responsible. This conspiracy theory instantly rings of fiction and/or some kind of Cold War propaganda.
