I'm very glad to be finished with 11th grade! I put a new link to "Misinformation and rumors about the September 11, 2001 attacks" because the German site is a redirect to some portal and there are no cached or archived copies of the German page online. Instead I linked to an archived version of Wikipedia from 2004, back when there were no massive articles devoted to 9/11 conspiracism and conspiracists.{1} I also added the 911Blogger parody 911Booger to the sidebar and I plan to add some more sites; I haven't been up to date on all the new conspiracy debunking blogs because this is the first time I've been anti-conspiracy blogging since January.{2}

I found yesterday's "National Report" from The New York Times a little while ago. There is an article called "9 Firefighters Die When Roof Collapses at a Blaze in South Carolina" by Shaila Dewan. The first paragraph is "CHARLESTON, S.C., June 19 -- The early reports were bad enough: four fighters had died as a fire in a furniture warehouse became an inferno of exploding windows, columns of flame and steel beams twisted from 1,000-degree heat." Think about all the furniture in the WTC and all the other combustibles.

The wise 4n7hr4x{1} says{2}:
"I went to the first link and started reading. A few posts down, the guy writing these blogs says that the whole story of Osama meeting a CIA agent in Dubai for a kidney dialisys(sp) is false because Osama 'probably' doesn't even need it, is the point where this site lost 90% of any credibility it had with me, as it is common knowledge that the CIA profile of Osama includes a detailed medical history which specifically points out that Osama has some sort of severe kidney problems and requires daily dialisys(sp), a procedure which must be carried out in a hospital and in no way can be done in a cave, especially if he is constantly on the move."

This person makes a straw-man out of my argument against the authenticity of the story{3} as a simple reading shows. Furthermore, according to NBC, the CIA has concluded that bin Laden is not a dialysis patient{4} even though he does have kidney problems.

The only reasonable thing he says is: "I'll read the rest and give it a fair chance just because I don't like being a hypocrite but things aren't looking too good my friend." Therefore, he has some brain cells.

Suspicious domain names betray 9-11 foreknowledge

The domain name myth is much like the Wing-Ding myth{1} in that people are looking for a connection to 9/11 where there is none. Up to 15 months before 9/11, the following domain names were registered,{2} and all expired June 2001{3}:
AttackAmerica.com – nothing special, because it is so broad.
AttackonAmerica.com – nothing special, because it is so broad (What kind of attack on America? When? By whom?).
AttackonTwinTowers.com – Twin Towers were already attacked in 1993, when Ramzi Yousef tried to murder 250,000 people, so this could have been intended as a historical site and was not necessarily a predictive site.
August11horror.com – This is 8/11, not 9/11.
August11terror.com – This is 8/11, not 9/11.
HorrorinAmerica.com – nothing special, because it is so broad (What kind of horror? Where in America? When?).
horrorinNewYork.com – nothing special, because it is so broad (What kind of horror? Where in New York [perhaps Manhattan]? When?).
NYCterroriststrike.com – NYC and Washington, D.C. are the prime terrorist attack targets, so this is nothing special. What kind of terrorist strike? When? By whom?
PearlHarborinManhattan.com – 9/11 and Pearl Harbor involved similar casualties and the tactic of kamikaze bombing, but there are many differences. Besides, is this referring to a novel or book or a future event? There is no way to legitimately conclude 9/11 foreknowledge from this domain.
terrorattack2001.com – nothing special; terror attacks happen all the time. What part of 2001? Where? By whom?
towerofhorror.com – This doesn’t necessarily mean the WTC (two buildings were struck by planes and WTC 7 collapsed later in the day{3}, so “towers of horror” would be more appropriate); it could refer to some planned fantasy novel, short story, comic series, etc.

worldtradecenter929.com – What does 929 mean? Is it supposed to be September 29? That is the wrong date, anyway.

None of these expired domains prove 9/11 foreknowledge beyond a reasonable doubt because they are all lacking in several elements of specificity. However, Paul Thompson's Cooperative Research website{5} says "The story will later be incorrectly called an 'urban legend'."{6}

I'm not surprised this junk is still on IndyMedia{1}:
"Stewardesses called in and said: "The passenger in 9-A was shooting the pilots and leading the hijacking." Story was later changed that Lewin was shot."

There was a similar post on LibertyForum{2}:
"The real truth is ... The stewardess called and said -- 'A passanger in 9-a is shooting the pilots - I show him listed as a Daniel Lewin.'"

Both sites are overflowing with anti-Semites. The fact is, the claim that Daniel Lewin shot the Flight 11 pilots is a dirty lie{3} and PURE fabrication, originating out of some anti-Semitic conspiracist's ass.

Kevin Barrett{4}, Eric Hufschmid{5}, Eric D. Williams,{6} and several other 9/11 truthers have been caught with their panzers down, exposing themselves as Holocaust deniers.

Passenger Loads

The anomalously low passenger loads of the four flights betray foreknowledge of 9-11

Jim Hoffman claims that the passenger loads (“load factors”) for the four hijacked flights were as follows:{1}
American Airlines Flight 11 N334AA: 51.3%
United Airlines Flight 175 N612UA: 31.3%
American Airlines Flight 77 N644AA: 29.3%
United Airlines Flight 93 N591UA: 16.5%

Hoffman claims these figures are anomalous. However, except for the AA11 figure, all of his figures are off. Hoffman claims these figures are unusually low but that is not true for all of them. Here are the true load factors on 9/11 and how they compare with other Tuesdays in the three months leading up to 9/11:{2}
American Airlines Flight 11 N334AA: 51.3% = 12.3% above average
United Airlines Flight 175 N612UA: 33% = 16% below average but within normal range
American Airlines Flight 77 N644AA: 33% = 0.2% above average
United Airlines Flight 93 N591UA: 20% = 32% below average and outside of normal range

Flight 93 might have had an exceptionally low load due to 9/11’s proximity to Labor Day. More importantly, there is no pattern in the passenger loads of the four flights (they are all different from each other) so there are no grounds for suspicion.

Coleen Rowley exposed an FBI plot to knowingly let 9-11 happen

Coleen Rowley’s{1} letter does not support a government conspiracy; i.e. 9/11-was-an-inside-job theory. She rhetorically asked, “Why would an FBI agent(s) deliberately sabotage a case? (I know I shouldn't be flippant about this, but jokes were actually made that the key FBIHQ personnel had to be spies or moles, like Robert Hansen, who were actually working for Osama bin Ladin to have so undercut Minneapolis' effort.)” She actually proposed an answer which corresponds to Peter Lance’s thesis{2}:
“Our best real guess, however, is that, in most cases avoidance of all ‘unnecessary’ actions/decisions by FBIHQ managers (and maybe to some extent field managers as well) has, in recent years, been seen as the safest FBI career course. Numerous high-ranking FBI officials who have made decisions or have taken actions which, in hindsight, turned out to be mistaken or just turned out badly (i.e. Ruby Ridge, Waco, etc.) have seen their careers plummet and end. This has in turn resulted in a climate of fear which has chilled aggressive FBI law enforcement action/decisions. In a large hierarchal bureaucracy such as the FBI, with the requirement for numerous superiors approvals/oversight, the premium on career-enhancement, and interjecting a chilling factor brought on by recent extreme public and congressional criticism/oversight, and I think you will see at least the makings of the most likely explanation. Along these lines, let me ask the question, why has it suddenly become necessary for the Director to "handpick" the FBI management?) It's quite conceivable that many of the HQ personnel who so vigorously disputed Moussaoui's ability/predisposition to fly a plane into a building were simply unaware of all the various incidents and reports worldwide of Al Qaeda terrorists attempting or plotting to do so.”

Why the South Tower Fell First

The South Tower fell first because it was destroyed by planted explosives or beam weapons, etc.

Ringleader Mohamed Atta crashed American Airlines Flight 11 N334AA, a Boeing 767-200ER, into the North Tower at about 8:46 A.M. Marwan Al Shehhi rammed United Airlines Flight 175 N612UA, a Boeing 767-200ER, into the South Tower at about 9:03 A.M. The South Tower collapsed at 9:59 A.M. and the North Tower collapsed at 10:28 A.M. The South Tower and North Tower collapsed after about 56 and 102 minutes, respectively, and the North Tower lasted about 46 minutes longer than the South Tower.

Why did the South Tower collapse so much sooner than the North Tower? According to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Federal Building and Fire Safety Investigation of the World Trade Center Disaster{1}:
"The time it took for each WTC tower to collapse was due primarily to the differences in structural damage, the time it took the fires to travel from the impact area across the floors and core to critical locations, and the time it took to weaken the core and exterior columns. WTC 2 had asymmetric structural damage to the core including the severing of a corner core column and WTC 1 had more symmetrical damage. The fires in WTC 2 reached the east side of the building more quickly, within 10 to 20 minutes, than the 50 to 60 minutes it took the fires in WTC 1 to reach the south side."

Two Odigo employees were warned about 9-11, betraying Israeli foreknowledge

Odigo Vice President of Sales and Marketing Alex Diamandis said that about two hours before AA Flight 11 N334AA struck the North Tower, an Odigo user sent an instant message warning to employees in the Israeli office of research and development and international sales, and that this warning did not identify the World Trade Center as a target.{1} The vague message was only notable for its timing and not because it predicted the 9/11 attacks specifically.{2} There was no point in warning the 80-person Odigo team{3} in Israel of an attack on a building in which they had no offices{4} and omitting a warning to leave that building.{5} Cui bono? Certainly not Israel! In fact, no one benefited from these warnings and no one benefits from hearing these destructive urban myths promoted as fact by people like conspiracy nut Alex Jones.{6}

A CIA agent met Osama bin Laden in a Dubai hospital in summer 2001

The myth that Osama bin Laden met with a CIA agent while receiving kidney dialysis in Dubai from July 4-14, 2001 originated with the unsourced, unconfirmed account of Le Figaro freelance writer Alexandra Richard.{1} Hospital director Bernard Koval denied the meeting took place, and his denial carries weight due to the implausibility of the Abu Dhabi CIA agent bragging and his friends telling on the press, and only a freelance writer for an obscure French paper reporting this.{2} It’s doubtful bin Laden is even a dialysis patient. Moreover, it is possible, but not certain, that this story was part of a disinformation campaign on the part of the French, who wanted to undermine the credibility of the CIA and support for the Iraq War.{3}

Jeff Killtown purports to have a goldmine of eyewitness testimony proving that the Twin Towers were destroyed via controlled demolition. Unfortunately, his mine is full of fool’s gold.

55. EMT Jeff Birnbaum near the South Tower says he heard an eerie high-pitched noise and a 'popping sound' then an explosion before the top of the tower leaned toward him and started coming down. (CEE News)
WRH: The full quote from Birnbaum{1} is: “When we got to about 50 feet from the South Tower, we heard the most eerie sound that you would ever hear. A high-pitched noise and a popping noise made everyone stop. We all looked up. At that point, it all let go. The way I see it, it had to be the rivets. The building let go, there was an explosion, and the whole top leaned toward us and started coming down. I stood there for a second in total awe, and then said, ‘What the f*ck?’ I honestly thought it was Hollywood.” So Mr. Birnbaum attributes the noises to the failure of the bolts, not bombs.
57. Firefighter Edward Cachia says the South Tower gave at a lower floor then where the plane hit because they thought there was internal explosions going off from hearing successions of 'boom, boom, boom, boom' before the tower came down. (NY Times)
WRH: Mr. Cachia always qualifies with “as if” and his body language in the video shows that the floors pancaking on top of each other caused the noise.
58. Fire Captain Karin Deshore says there was orange and red flashes followed by explosions that were getting bigger going both up and down and then all around the WTC 2. (SF Gate)
WRH: The above quote fails to demonstrate the FDNY captain likening the collapse to a controlled demolition; he never makes that connection. He also qualifies with "I didn't know the building was collapsing" and "still unaware that this building had collapsed." His description matches that of a transformer explosion.
60. Commissioner Stephen Gregory along with a Lieutenant Evangelista from Ladder 146 say they both saw multiple flashes coming from the lower level of the WTC 2 right before it collapsed and mentions the flashes they saw are like what you'd see when they 'blow up a building.' (NY Times)

I mean, it could have been as a result of the building collapsing, things exploding, but I saw a flash flash flash and then it looked like the building came down." ... "No, the lower level of the building. You know like when they demolish a building, how when they blow up a building, when it falls down? That's what I thought I saw. And I didn't broach the topic to him, but he asked me. He said I don't know if I'm crazy, but I just wanted to ask you because you were standing right next to me. He said did you see anything by the building? And I said what do you mean by see anything? He said did you see any flashes? I said, yes, well, I thought it was just me. He said no, I saw them, too. I don't know if that means anything. I mean, I equate it to the building coming down and pushing things down, it could have been electrical explosions, it could have been whatever."

Larry Silverstein confessed that WTC 7 was deliberately demolished

Larry Silverstein did not admit that WTC 7 was brought down in a controlled demolition. On the PBS special “America Rebuilds,” he said, “I remember getting a call from the Fire Department commander, telling me they were not sure they were gonna be able to contain the fire, and I said, you know, ‘We’ve had such a terrible loss of life, maybe the smartest thing to do is just pull it.’ And they made that decision to pull and then we watched the building collapse.” Conspiracists{1} have removed the important context so that it suits their hypothesis, morphing the quote into simply, “I remember getting a call from the Fire Department commander, telling me the smartest thing to do is just pull it. And they made that decision to pull and then we watched the building collapse.”

This stupid little canard can be refuted via the logical technique of reductio ad absurdum. If the conspiracist interpretation is true, then the following absurd statements are also true:
(1) Silverstein uses demolition jargon when speaking with someone who does not know demolition jargon.
(2) Silverstein wanted to demolish a building to prevent further loss of life.
(3) Silverstein calmly and casually admitted to massive insurance fraud on national television.
(4) Cables attached to WTC 7 and adjacent buildings brought down WTC 7.
(5) FDNY Chief Daniel Nigro’s admission{2} to making the evacuation decision and the use of “pull” as “evacuate” by another member of NY’s bravest are meaningless.

In “The 9/11 Commission Report: A 571-Page Lie,” Dr. David Ray Griffin lists 115 so-called omissions and distortions of the Final Report of the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States.{1} He bickers, “26. The omission of the report that Attorney General Ashcroft was warned to stop using commercial airlines prior to 9/11 (50).” Similarly, Jeff Killtown lists 270 so-called “smoking guns” proving 9/11 was orchestrated by the American government, and number six on the list is: "June '01 - Attorney General John Ashcroft stops flying commercial aircrafts because of a 'threat assessment'. John Ashcroft told 9/11 Commission staff member Richard Ben-Veniste{2} that he “never ceased to use commercial aircraft for [his] personal travel.” In August 2001 Ashcroft’s “wife traveled to Germany and back” and they both “traveled to Washington, D.C.” eight days before 9/11. Ashcroft “exclusively traveled on commercial aircraft for [his] personal travel … through the entirety of the threat period to the nation.” According to Ashcroft, in early 2001 “the security team and the Department of Justice” made an assessment unrelated “to a terrorism threat” in terms of a “threat to the nation;” instead, “it was related to an assessment of the security for the attorney general, given his responsibilities and the job that he undertakes” and also dealt with “the maintenance of arms and other things by individuals who travel with the attorney general.” The security team and the DOJ concluded that Ashcroft and his companions “would be best served to use government aircraft” as opposed to “private chartered jet aircraft.” Ashcroft said he used a government aircraft “on [his] way to an event in Milwaukee on the morning of September the 11th.”

Evidence
No public evidence shows a 757 approaching the Pentagon, nor remains of such an aircraft.
There are no photographs showing a 757 approaching the Pentagon. 5 security camera photos released in 2002 do not show anything like a 757, but do show a vapor trail like that of a missile.
Video recordings from adjacent businesses were seized by the FBI shortly after the attack and never seen since.
The lawn of the Pentagon outside the west wall was free of aircraft parts identifiable as belonging to a 757. The few small scraps photographed look like they belonged to a much smaller aircraft such as a Global Hawk."
"Aircraft Remains
As the photographs immediately following the attack show, the punctures in the west wall of the Pentagon were far smaller than the profile of a Boeing 757-200, and the lawn was nearly immaculate, free of any large aircraft debris. The few scraps that appear in some photographs are far too thin and light to be part of such an aircraft. Photographs show curious activities by apparent Pentagon employees at the crash site before the arrival of rescue and recovery workers. "The Many Oddities of the Alleged Calls From Doomed Flights
There are a number of oddities about the alleged cell phone calls from the people on the doomed flights. Here are just a few.
The calls have a peculiar distribution with thirteen calls attributed to Flight 93 passengers, but only zero to one attributed to passengers on any of the other flights. Why would the hijackers be so permissive on that flight but only selectively permissive on others, letting Flight 11 Attendant Madeline Sweeney talk for the entire hijacked portion of its route?
Several calls have the ring of fakery. They include the following:
The call to Mark Bingham's mother, Alice, from someone claiming to be her son, was very short. After his awkward introduction, the caller failed to respond to Alice's twice-repeated question, and then the line went dead.
In one of the calls attributed to Barbara Olsen, the caller asked Ted Olsen "What should I tell the pilot?", referring to Chic Burlingame, the captain, who was then supposedly seated in the rear with Barbara. Chic was a graduate of Naval Academy and flew F-4s in Vietnam. It seems highly doubtful that he could have been persuaded to hand over the stick without a fight, and agree to sit in the back of the plane, especially when controllers had been broadcasting to pilots that Flight 11 had been hijacked.
There is no public evidence of recordings of any of the conversations, despite the extended length of some of them, except for Madeline Sweeney's alleged call.
Sweeney, who was the "anchor" for Flight 11, says: "I see, buildings, water, ... Oh my God!", immediately before the crash, as though she, a Massachusetts-based flight attendant of 12 years, had never seen the Manhattan skyline before. Supposedly she was continuously monitoring the view out a window.
A person claiming to be Todd Beamer, one of the heroes of the purported Flight 93 passenger revolt, talked to a Verizon supervisor for 13 minutes. Why would Beamer prefer to talk to a stranger than to someone in his own family?
The alleged Todd Beamer talked like a reporter, giving the blow-by-blow account of the goings-on right up to the famous "Let's roll".
Except for the Beamer call, all of the Flight 93 calls were very short, usually just a few sentences, with the caller ending the conversation by saying they had to go, only to call back later in many cases for another short call. Why did they have to go? Were the hijackers enforcing a one-minute time limit on all conversations?
Canadian scientist A.K. Dewdney concludes in the article Ghostriders in the Sky that cellphone calls could not be made reliably if at all from Flight 93.
He conducted experiments with cell phones to show that cell phones seldom work above 10,000 feet. Several of the alleged Flight 93 calls were made when the plane would still have been near its cruising altitude of 35,000 feet.
Below 10,000 feet, according to Dewdney, cell phone calls made from a jet would cause problematic "cascades" in networks of cellsites on the ground. Cascading is caused by a phone at several thousand feet of elevation being unable to distinguish which of several cellsites has the strongest signal. This causes the phone to repeatedly select a new channel and try again, possibly leading to a network-wide breakdown. No such cascades were reported on September 11th."

Jim Hoffman of 9/11 Research, 6/13/2007:
"Contrary to Dewdney's findings, we have received reports that cell phones do work from aircraft. Other evidence that cell phone calls are possible from jetliners in flight comes from a study by Carnegie Mellon researchers that monitored spectrum frequencies generated by cell phone transmissions during commercial passenger flights. They found that an average of one to four cell phone calls are made during a typical flight. 1 Furthermore, most of the calls from Flight 93 were apparently made from airphones, not cell phones, with the few cell phone calls apparently happening late in the flight when the jetliner's altitude was low.
Although arguments for the majority of calls being faked don't hold up to scrutiny, the reported content of two of the calls raises questions.
In one of two calls Ted Olsen said he received from his wife on Flight 77, she reportedly asked "What should I tell the pilot?," referring to Chic Burlingame, the captain, who was then supposedly seated in the rear with Barbara. Burlingame was a graduate of Naval Academy and flew F-4s in Vietnam. One of the bases for the WTC-was-destroyed-by-thermite arguments is a collection of pictures showing diagonally cut steel beams from the World Trade Center. The problem with these arguments, like those of the gullible Michael Rivero,{1} is that firefighters and other professionals made the cuts well after the collapse of the towers so that the steel could be transported more easily to e.g. Fresh Kills landfill.

The genius John Doe II of Team8Plus wonders why there are no images of Majed Moqed passing through Dulles security. He should watch the Dulles security video for himself @ http://www.vaed.uscourts.gov/notablecases/moussaoui/exhibits/prosecution/NT00211.html, and maybe take about another 20 seconds of his time to find stills of Moqed in Dulles online. The video is 545MB but I downloaded in on one of my computers and watched it. Moqed wore a white t-shirt and white khaki pants. The video shows the security personnel inspecting him with a wand after the red light of the metal detector flashes. The man in the video matches photos of Moqed, particularly the ATM photo from September 5, 2001.

Moqed is in the middle.

Jeb Bush's executive order was not martial law; read it yourself:

WHEREAS, the Florida National Guard has the statutory responsibility to
provide support to law-enforcement personnel and emergency-management personnel
in the event of civil disturbances or natural disasters; and

WHEREAS, the Florida National Guard has the responsibility to provide
training support to law-enforcement personnel and community-based organizations
relating to counter drug operations; and

WHEREAS, the Florida National Guard must train to meet such
responsibilities; and

WHEREAS, the Florida National Guard is funded for any such training by
budgetary appropriation or grants before any such training; and

WHEREAS, the Florida National Guard must conduct such training in active
service of the state, as defined by Section 250.27, Florida Statutes (also known
as active military service and state active duty) for members of the Florida
National Guard to be covered by Section 250.34, Florida Statutes; and

WHEREAS, as Governor, I may delegate the authority contained in Section
250.06(4), Florida Statutes, to order training to help respond to civil
disturbances, natural disasters, and counter drug operations to The Adjutant
General of the State of Florida; and

WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the State of Florida that I delegate
such authority, so that the Florida National Guard is adequately trained to meet
its obligation to help respond to civil disturbances, natural disasters, and
counter drug operations and so that members of the Florida National Guard
performing such training are covered by Section 250.34, Florida Statutes; and

WHEREAS, the Governor may order the Florida National Guard to provide
extraordinary support to law enforcement upon request and such a request has
been received from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) to assist
FDLE in performing port security training and inspections.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JEB BUSH, as Governor of Florida, by virtue of the
authority vested in me by Article IV, Section 1(a) of the Florida Constitution,
and by Section 250.06(4), Florida Statutes, and all other applicable laws, do
hereby promulgate the following Executive Order, to take immediate effect:

Section 1. Based upon the foregoing, I hereby find that the public welfare
requires that the Florida National Guard train to support law-enforcement
personnel and emergency-management personnel in the event of civil disturbances
or natural disasters and to provide training support to law-enforcement
personnel and community-based organizations relating to counter drug operations.

Section 2. I hereby delegate to The Adjutant General of the State of
Florida all necessary authority, within approved budgetary appropriations or
grants, to order members of the Florida National Guard into active service, as
defined by Section 250.27, Florida Statutes, for the purpose of training to
support law-enforcement personnel and emergency-management personnel in the
event of civil disturbances or natural disasters and to provide training support
to law-enforcement personnel and community-based organizations relating to
counter drug operations.

Section 3. The Florida National Guard may order selected members on to
state active duty for service to the State of Florida pursuant to Section
250.06(4), Florida Statutes, to assist FDLE in performing port security training
and inspections. Based on the potential massive damage to life and property that
may result from an act of terrorism at a Florida port, the necessity to protect
life and property from such acts of terrorism, and inhibiting the smuggling of
illegal drugs into the State of Florida, the use of the Florida National Guard
to support FDLE in accomplishing port security training and inspections is
"extraordinary support to law enforcement" as used in Section 250.06(4), Florida
Statutes.

Section 4. The Adjutant General shall not place members of the Florida
National Guard into active service for longer than necessary to accomplish the
purposes declared herein.

Section 5. This Executive Order supersedes Executive Order Number 01-17.
Executive Order Number 01-17 is hereby revoked.

Section 6. This Executive Order shall remain in full force and effect until
the earlier of its revocation or June 30, 2003.

IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and have caused the Great
Seal of the State of Florida to be affixed at Tallahassee, the Capitol, this 7th
day of September 2001.

It must be noted that a state of emergency is not the same as martial law. Martial law is when the military takes over to function as police (they can seize private property, arrest citizens, set curfews, etc.) In the case of Jeb Bush's executive orders, civilian law was still in effect, not military (martial) law. September is part of hurricane season, and there is no demonstrable connection between these benign executive orders and 9/11 foreknowledge.

9/11 attacks, was about confusion at the time surrounding the names and
identities of some of the hijackers. This confusion was widely reported and was
also acknowledged by the FBI.The story has been cited ever since by some as
evidence that the 9/11 attacks were part of a US government conspiracy.We later
